My Approach

"My focus is to meet people where they are, to understand the individual’s journey and to provide healthcare that works for them"

At the age of 19, I owned and operated a busy boutique fitness centre encouraging clients to eat well and take regular exercise; I remember naively telling people that there was no excuse for not exercising regularly or for poor eating habits. I now look back and cringe at the thought of those statements because in my early 20’s (with very little life experience) I had ideals based only on my scope of reference, but years of working in the corporate world, living abroad, fertility challenges, parenting and dealing with the challenges life throws...gave me the understanding I needed to put things into perspective.

After many years studying Naturopathic medicine I can now see both the mental and biological challenges that can effect an individuals capacity to focus on their health or even find the energy to do so.

Good health means so much more to me now, it’s a symbiotic relationship of mental, physical and emotional factors that have to work for the individual. I don’t have expectations of my clients, I don’t judge whether they’ve implemented the plan we have worked on, my role is to encourage and support by finding them a path through their health challenges towards healing.

If they choose to walk it, crawl it or run it is up to them.
